I was reading some articles from Francisco Colayco (www.colaycofoundation.com), a consultant, personal finance evangelist and author of “Pera mo Palaguin moâ€.
One of the investment companies he recommends is The Mutual Fund Management Company. It’s timely that I find a company brochure at Megamall in a Financial Planning Expo.
Basically, the company offers three products:
•   ATR Kim Eng Fixed Income Fund – secure, long-term investment that preserves your capital the best (for the risk-averse)
•   ATR Kim Eng Equity Opportunity Fund – more rewarding than the fixed income fund but carries more risk (for the risk-taker)
•   Kabuhayan Mutual Fund – A balanced fund which is a cross between fixed and equity funds (for the risk neutral)
The brochure says that they give online account access available anytime. This is convenient. Unlike Philequity which has an almost amateurish website (it provides only the past 5days of NAV), I quite sure the Mutual Fund Mgmt corp has a more informative website.
