I was at an eBiz branch and picked-up a flyer screaming “OFW ka ba? Pwede kang humiram ng P20,000! Apply na!â€
It’s a loan service by Credit24 Finance Company, Inc.
Maraming benepisyo ang maging “Preferred Customerâ€. Manghiram at magbayad para maabot mo ang TITANIUM+ … 2.99% lang.
The flyer has a table describing a loyalty program level starting from Classic all the way to Titanium +. For each of the six levels, there is a maximum loanable amount from 3,000 all the way to 100,000. e-Biz transaction fee ranges from Php250 to Php1,500, Doc stamps from P3.75 to P500, loan term from 4 mos to 24 mos, Monthly amortization from 974.70 to 7,156.67.
From what I’m reading, it looks a lot like a microfinance loan where a good payor gets a progressively bigger allowable loan amount starting at P3,000.
Apparently, if you’re an OFW, you can start out with a P20,000 loan (around Php 930 in fees, 2,798 monthly amortization payable in 10 months).
It’s not a cheap loan, but it’s an option.
