I discovered through Pinoy.Tech.Blog that Yahoo! started a service dubbed Pinoy Connect
In honor of the sacrifices and efforts of the overseas Filipino workers and their families, Yahoo! together with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), AYALA Foundation’s GILAS, and the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) launched a new service called “Pinoy Connect”, a global initiative dedicated to overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families in the Philippines.
I like it. I like because there are people out there who think similar dreams as I, dreams for Pinoy OFWs.
Of course Yahoo! is out to promote their own services. It’s all good. This just improves awareness and competition in delivering communications options for our OFWs. We might even see Globe, Smart or PLDT creating more or better communications options for our OFWs.
Scuttle to PTB: Yahoo! launches “Pinoy Connect” .
