Online remittance firm PesoEpadala.com Australia ties up with Union Bank to come up with Pinoy Money Card. Now, you can give your friends and families free Pinoy Money card and what’s better, you can do it online.

About Pinoy Money Card
Pinoy Money Card works as an ATM card that senders can apply and give to their families and friends in the Philippines. Beneficiaries can use it to withdraw funds from Megalink, Bancnet, and Expressnet ATMs. Pinoy Money Card will allow you to send money the most convenient way, not to mention your beneficiaries will receive money in an easy and convenient manner. No need to wait in long lines or look for any remittance branch. They can just go to any ATM and withdraw the money right away!
Sending Money
- Sending money is as easy as ABC. Just deposit the money online, and the money is automatically transferred to the beneficiary’s account. But one must get the card first. If you are an existing PesoEpadala client, just send an email to sales@pesoepadala.com containing the complete address of the beneficiary in the Philippines. This will be forwarded to Union Bank, who will then create the Pinoy Money Card for mailing to the assigned beneficiary. Once the beneficiary receives the card, you can now remit the money online.
- For new clients, you must register first, and then do the similar steps provided. In your remittance form, indicate the Pinoy money number instead of the bank account name and number, then choose “credit to Pinoy money” as delivery mode and destination.
Receiving Money
Receiving money is fast and easy. As soon as your transaction is credited to the Pesoepadala.com bank accounts, they will send Union Bank an electronic instruction to credit the beneficiary’s account. What’s more, Union bank will send an SMS to the beneficiary to inform them that their card has been credited. To withdraw the money, the beneficiary will just have to go to any Megalink, Bancnet, and Expressnet ATMs nearest them and withdraw the money.

Good
- What’s good about this product is that its so easy to get the money, no need to line up in remittance centers or any identity verification.
- Also, no maintaining balance is needed, so the beneficiary can withdraw the whole amount as needed.
- The users will also feel security as Union Bank is one of the four largest banks in terms of income among privately-owned universal banks in the Philippines and among the 6 largest banks in total resources.
- If the beneficiary’s card gets lost or stolen, you or the beneficiary can just call Pesoepadala.com or Union Bank to report the lost or stolen card. A replacement card will be issued subject to the requirements of Union Bank. For your next transaction, however, you will have to enter the new card number instead of the old one, so the remittance will be credited to the replacement card.
- A chat support service is available 24-hours a day, so if you have any questions or concerns, just log on to Pesoepadala.com website.
Not Good
But good as it is, one of the limitations of the product is the transaction limit, which has a ceiling price of only P20, 000 per month.
Another thing would be this product is not accessible for non-techie users, or people who are not internet savvy.
