The Singapore River Hongbao 2007 is kicking off tomorrow Feb. 16, 2006 at the Esplanade Park to welcome the lunar new year.  Though we Filipinos don’t typically celebrate the Chinese New year, I’m pretty sure it’d still be worth checking out.  The fireworks alone are something to look forward to as us Pinoys like fireworks so much.  (Why else would the World Pyrolympics be held in the Philippines 2 years in a row?) The fireworks start at 7:55 PM and ends at around 8PM.  So be there early to get a good view.  This is especially interesting for those OFWs who are into photography.

There will be artisans, performers and craftsmen coming all the way from China to do cultural dance, acrobatics, art and more.
